WASHINGTON — Two people are dead after a crash involving a SUV and all-terrain vehicle in Prince George’s County Wednesday night. Two vehicles collided along Laurel-Bowie Road near Powder Mill Road in Laurel, Maryland, around 12:50 p.m. leading to one man’s death. The driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries at the scene, Nesky says. Police responded to the crash at Race Track Road and Old Chapel Road in Bowie just before midnight, Bowie Chief of Police John Nesky says.

Victims in fatal Bowie crash identified

BOWIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- The two parents killed late Wednesday night during an accident in Bowie have been identified. According to Bowie police, Gene Hutchinson of Annapolis, Md. and Crystal Goff of Bowie, Md. were killed after an accident between an ATV and an SUV. At around 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, the ATV and SUV were involved in a head-on collision near the intersection of Rack Track Road and Old Chapel Road. Friends told WUSA9 that Hutchinson and Goff were riding an off-road ATV at the time of the accident. Police did not identify the driver of the SUV beyond saying he was a 47-year-old man from Landover.
