Truck driver killed when vehicle crashes, burns

Maryland State Police say a tractor-trailer driver was killed when his truck hit a guardrail and bridge support and burst into flames.
It occured about 2:30 p.m. Friday on Interstate 81 in Hagerstown. The driver, 59-year-old Donald W. Hall of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, was traveling north when the rig veered off the side of the road, hit guardrail and bridge support and burst into flames. Troopers say the truck was hauling recyclables. Hall was pronounced dead at the scene.
