Two people killed and two injured in car crash on Suitland Parkway in Suitland, Maryland

Two people died at a local hospital after a car crash in Suitland early Sunday, police said. A woman in one of the vehicles died at the hospital early Sunday and police say another person died at the hospital Sunday afternoon. The crash happened on Suitland Parkway at Meadowview Drive around 12:45 a.m. At least two occupants of one of the cars involved in the crash are related, police said.

Two people were killed in a collision along Suitland Parkway early Sunday morning, according to police. Two people inside a Saturn were killed in the accident. Another passenger from the Saturn and the driver of the Ford Edge are being treated at the hospital. Investigators have not determined a cause for the accident. Their identities were not released and the families are asking for privacy at this time.
