Police said on Saturday that troopers responding to reports of a serious crash on Route 16 at Interstate 93 found the bicyclists with serious, life-threatening injuries on Friday night. The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he died. Police identified the motorcyclist as a 52-year-old man from Topsfield.

Massachusetts State Police have identified the bicyclist who was struck and killed Friday evening on Route 16, at Interstate 93, in Medford, as Mohamed A. Zeidan, 29, of Somerville.
