Woman behind wheel in grandmother, child crash held without bail
The crash happened Wednesday in front of St. Vincent Hospital. Police said 33-year-old Cassandra McAuliffe was chasing her ex-boyfriend when she lost control and hit the pair on the sidewalk.

Worcester Police said the driver was arrested on several charges including: domestic assault and battery, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a child under the age of 14, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and malicious destruction of property.

The young girl is in good condition and is expected to be released from the hospital soon. The grandmother is still in critical condition.
