Car crash on St. James Ave., woman extricated from car

A woman had to be extricated from a car following a two car crash on St. James Avenue around 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. The car accident occurred near 164 St. James Ave. Springfield Fire Department spokesman Dennis Leger told 22News when crews arrived, firefighters had to cut open the roof of a white PT cruiser to rescue the woman inside.
