Springfield school bus involved in crash

The Springfield Police Traffic Bureau is investigating an accident involving a school bus in the city’s Forest Park neighborhood. The crash took place Wednesday afternoon at Bloomfield and Earl Streets. Our 22News crew could see front-end damage to the bus, as well as a sedan that went through a chain-link fence. Springfield Police Officer Chris Goodrow told 22News seven people were taken to Baystate Medical Center, including three students; two students were taken by ambulance, one was driven there by a private vehicle. The school bus driver and three people in the sedan were also taken to Baystate.
