Around 2:00 Saturday morning officers responded to a crash on M-139 near West Rocky Weed Road in Berrien County. The passenger, 23-year-old Elizabeth Calderhead, was pronounced dead later in the afternoon at the hospital. The crash remains under investigation, but officers say alcohol does appear to be a factor.
