3 dead after police chase, crash following gun shop burglary
Authorities say the deputy stopped the SUV, but it sped off and exited the freeway before crashing into a tree in Royalton Township.
Deputies cleared of wrongdoing in pursuit, crash that killed 3 people
According to the sheriff's office, an internal review and review of the in-car video of the incident found no wrong-doing on the part of the two deputies.

"The deputies' efforts to maintain sight of the suspect vehicle, the occupants of which likely had stolen a number of firearms, was entirely appropriate. There was no violation of a criminal law by the deputies who gave chase; therefore, no criminal charges will be authorized relating to the chase," Sepic said in a prepared statement.
