The man, whose name isn’t being released, was looking at some Tesla cars parked outside Shinola’s flagship store on Canfield, near Third St. and Cass Ave., when he was struck.

Authorities said they believe Deandre M. Simmons was intoxicated when his pickup struck the pedestrians at about 5:15 p.m. on Canfield near Second. The victims had stopped to check out a Tesla on display.
