Today I was notified by the St. Clair Shores Police that my beautiful daughter Acadia had passed away. She'd been missing since last Thursday and her car slid into the canal at 9 and Jefferson that day where she has been since today when her car was visible in the water. We had been searching for her since last Friday with no luck.  Rest in peace my precious angel. I will love your for eternity.  Please pray for me and my family.

Police: Body Found In Submerged Car Was There For Days

Police said the car was found Wednesday afternoon in a vacant boat well near the marina behind the Shore Club condominiums, a private gated community at 9 Mile Road and Jefferson Avenue. A 22-year-old woman was found inside.

Lt. Joe Heythaler said it appears the vehicle and the woman have been in the lake for two to three days, but were only discovered after a call from a resident. At this point, investigators aren’t sure if the vehicle ended up in the water accidentally or if it was deliberately driven in.
