Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the accident.
31-Year-Old Sterling Heights Man Killed In Utica Road Crash
Utica Rd. was closed between Hayes and Schoenherr Rd. for much of the morning commute for an accident investigation.

They did not release the woman's name because she has not been charged. However, Smith said charges could be forthcoming.

On Monday morning, a 31-year-old Sterling Heights man was southbound in a Pontiac Grand Am on Utica Road when a Ford Expedition, driven by a 58-year-old Sterling Heights woman was driving north on Utica. The woman turned left and struck the driver's side door of the Grand Am. The man was killed in the accident, while the woman sustained minor injuries.
