Authorities: Drinking suspected in pedestrian-train death

The man remained on the tracks as the train approached arond 11:30 p.m.
A 27-year-old male pedestrian apparently was drinking before he was hit and a killed by a train in Washtenaw County. The site of the accident was in Lima Township, approximately 10 miles west of Ann Arbor. The man remained on the tracks as the train approached arond 11:30 p.m. The man will remain unidentified until authorities have notified his relatives. Investigators believe that alcohol may have been involved in the death.
