Distracted teen driver crashes into tree

It happened around 11 p.m. on Tamarack Road near Lake Road in Belvidere Township, according to a Montcalm County Sherriff’s Department news release. Deputies say the teen was driving eastbound on Tamarack Road when she ran the stop sign at Lake Road and continued east onto the gravel portion of the road.
