7 Injured in suspected DUI crash in Battle Creek

Police say while they were investigating the driver returned to the scene and was taken in to custody.
Seven people were injured in a collision with suspected drunk driver in Battle Creek at the intersection of Greenwood Ave. and N. Kendall Street around 11pm, Saturday April 18th. The at-fault vehicle was traveling eastbound on Greenwood when it ran a stop sign and collided with a northbound car. Police say the driver ran off on foot but later returned to the crash scene. 7 people in the vehicles were injured; two of them sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
