A woman from Mount Pleasant died after her SUV crashed on a road in Montcalm County. Adeanna Marie Sexton, 31, was driving north on Wyman Road near Lake Montcalm Road, south of Edmore, when she failed to negotiate the curves in the road, police said. She lost control of her vehicle, which left the road to the right, crossed Wyman Road, and struck a tree. The impact was on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Sexton was pronounced dead at the scene around 8:11 p.m. Dec. 7, according to a news release. She was wearing a seat belt. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
