The driver of the truck, Brandon Beemer of Howard City, suffered minor injuries in the crash and also was taken to Kelsey Hospital for treatment.

Carol Sloma, 68, died in a Nov. 26 collision near Howard City on West Almy Road in Reynolds Township. Authorities say Sloma failed to stop at North Federal Road and was hit by a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup going north on Federal Road. Traffic on Federal Road has the right-of-way.
