Police say a semi-truck driven by David Hartman, 52, was getting ready to turn left from eastbound M-86 into the parking lot of the Palomino trailer facility. A GMC van driven by Paul Alber, 63, of Sturgis was slowing down behind the semi when his van was hit from behind by a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 32-year-old David Phillips.
