Lyons man, 24, dies in motorcycle crash

The Ionia County Sheriff's Office reports that James Luttman, 24, died after his motorcycle left the roadway while traveling westbound on Kimball Road approximately one half-mile east of the village of Lyons. The accident occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m.
James Luttman was riding his motorcycle on Kimball Road when his motorcycle left the roadway and he crashed. Luttman was traveling with a second motorcyclist who was able to render aid until help could arrive. Luttman died at the scene. The second motorcyclist was arrested on charges of drunk driving and driving with a suspended license. Speed and alcohol are believed to have contributed to this accident.
