One dead after Marquette County snowmobile crash
The crash occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. near the Iron Ore Heritage Trail. A group of five to seven people were snowmobiling when one member of their party crashed and died at the scene.
Name released in fatal snowmobile accident
The driver, a 43-year-old Chad M. Plasters of Milan was driving a 2007 Polaris snowmobile, failed to negotiate a slight right hand curve, lost control and hit a guard rail post and sign.
