Two die in wrong-way, head-on crash on U.S. 10
Clare County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched about 9:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, to the area of eastbound U.S. 10 near Old State Avenue in Lincoln Township for a report of a silver Mercury Sable sedan traveling west in the eastbound lane, according to a sheriff's office news release. While on their way, deputies were informed of a possible head-on collision.

The Mercury was driven by Brocht. The Chevrolet was driven by Charles Sarbach. Both died at the scene, the release states.
