Pedestrian hospitalized after crash

A driver, also of Grand Rapids, was turning south onto Division Street when he struck the pedestrian, Bussell said. "He said he started making his turn and he was unable to avoid a collision at that point," Bussell said. The man, 79, was taken to Munson Medical Center Sunday afternoon for an incapacitating injury. A car struck a Grand Rapids man as he tried to cross the intersection of Division Street and Twelfth Street on foot.
