BRAHAM, Minn. (AP) - Two people are dead in a three-vehicle crash north of Braham in Isanti County. The driver of the Ford sedan also died, but hasn't been identified. The Minnesota State Patrol says a Ford sedan was headed south on Highway 65 and veered into the northbound lanes, hitting a Pontiac Bonneville head on about 11 p.m. The patrol says the driver of the Bonneville, 31-year-old Michael Becker, of St. The driver of the third car and a passenger were injured.

Alcohol may be factor in Braham crash that killed two

At approximately 11 p.m., 53-year-old John Hogrefe of Mora was traveling south on Highway 65 in a Ford Taurus when he allegedly veered into the northbound lane of traffic striking a Pontiac Bonneville head-on. The crash caused two teenagers in a Chevrolet Impala to rear-end the Pontiac.  The driver of the Pontiac, 31-year-old Michael Becker of St. Paul, and Hogrefe died. According to the Minnesota State Patrol report, Becker was not wearing a seat belt.
