Minnesota Vikings Linebacker Erin Henderson has been arrested on suspicion of DWI, according to the Carver County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Vikings.
Minnesota Vikings Linebacker Erin Henderson has been arrested on suspicion of DWI, according to the Carver County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Vikings. Deputies received a report of a black SUV speeding and "driving all over the road" on Wednesday. Shortly after the call deputies received additional information of a single-vehicle crash at the Park and Ride near the intersection of Highway 101 and County Road 61 in Chanhassen. Henderson was the only person found in the vehicle, and he was injured from the crash. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, according to the sheriff's office. Henderson had the smell of alcohol on his breath, bloodshot and glassy eyes, along with poor balance, according to the report. Henderson was booked for second-degree DWI test refusal, fourth-degree DWI, third-degree DWI and violating limited driver's license conditions. He also was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the report states. Henderson was released from jail after posting $12,000 cash bail. His next court appearance is set for 1:30 p.m. March 3. Wednesday’s DWI arrest is the second one for Henderson in just six weeks. He was also stopped around 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 19 and subsequently arrested for probable cause for a DWI and possession of a controlled substance.
