Emergency crews were responding after a car went off an overpass in Little Canada. The crash was on Interstate 694 westbound at Interstate 35E southbound and happened around 7:24 a.m. Tuesday. According to officials at the scene, the vehicle went off the overpass and landed on a frozen pond. The Minnesota State Patrol says the woman who was driving has non-life threatening injuries. The right shoulder was blocked during the incident. The extreme cold made for icy roads Tuesday morning, leading to numerous spinouts and crashes around the Twin Cities metro. AAA responded to about 300 calls for service in Hennepin County on Tuesday as of 9:15 a.m.
