Renville Woman Dies in Crash With Semi

The State Patrol lists the road conditions as dry at the time of the crash. According to the State Patrol, she was southbound on Highway 7 when she collided broadside with a semi at an intersection. It happened at 3:30 Sunday morning in Kandiyohi County near Prinsburg in central Minnesota. 47-year-old Lisa Sunvold was pronounced dead at the scene. The other vehicle was a semi driven by 35-year-old Walt Palma of Redwood Falls. It is unknown if alcohol was detected.

Renville Woman Killed in Crash Near Prinsburg

Authorities have identified a driver who was killed in a crash near Prinsburg early Sunday. The Minnesota State Patrol says 47-year-old Lisa Sunvold of Renville was killed in the broadside crash about 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Minnesota Highway 7 near 135th Street. A semi was going east on Highway 7 when it struck a car going south on 135th Street. The crash closed Highway 7 for several hours.
