Wrong-way driver killed in late-night head-on crash in St. Paul

Paul man, with two passengers, was heading south on northbound Hwy. 280 and struck a car coming the other way. Paul man, and the patrol said it suspects he had been drinking. According to the patrol: The St. His passengers Mohammed Khallouk, 30, of New Brighton, and Abou B. Addoun, 24, of Minneapolis, were hospitalized with noncritical injuries. The other driver, Hor M. El, 35, of New Brighton was hospitalized with serious injuries.

The man killed was Abdi Olani, who was completing his electrical engineering degree at the University of Minnesota, said Oda Abdissa, a friend of his for years. He said people in his community are shocked by what happened.
