Cyclist killed while riding on shoulder of Minnesota highway

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the collision happened about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday on a county road west of Sartell. Chief Sheriff's Deputy Bruce Bechtold tells the Star Tribune (http://strib.mn/1O1AzZt ) Seiler was an avid cyclist and "was doing nothing wrong and got clipped." Bechtold says Seiler was wearing a helmet and was riding on a "very wide" shoulder when he was struck by a car driven by a 73-year-old woman from Pasadena, California.
