An Andover man was killed Wednesday when he was ejected from the bed of a pickup that struck a tree, the Isanti County Sheriff's Office said.

Isanti County Sheriff Chris Caulk said the driver of the pickup remained on scene, and is cooperating with authorities.

It was around 7:10 p.m. when police received report of a crashed pickup truck at the intersection of Fortman Street Northwest and 383rd Avenue. They arrived to find a man, identified as Tyler Levenhagen, 31, lying in a ditch. He was ejected from the bed of the truck when it crashed into a tree, and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver sustained minor injuries and waiting at the site for responders.
