Authorities have not explained any of the circumstances that led to the crash, about 6 miles northeast of Stacy. Nor have they identified the man who was killed or the two people injured.

A two-vehicle crash left a driver dead and two people in the other vehicle badly injured. The Chisago County car accident happened shortly before noon Saturday at the intersection of Lincoln and Kost trails in Lent Township. Dead at the scene was a 66-year-old man who was driving one of the cars. Sent to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with serious injuries were a 44-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman.
