A Rice man was killed Tuesday when a motorcycle and a pickup crashed near Paynesville, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

It was approximately 6:48 p.m. when a pickup truck driven by Paul D. Osborne, 49, was attempting to make a left turn near Minnesota Highway 23 and Stearns County Road 123, when he collided with a motorcycle driven by Dale S. Rolfes, 52. Rolfes was killed in the crash, and Osborne was uninjured. It is not clear who was at fault in the accident.
