He identified them as Michael Drieling, 34, of Ocean Springs, and his passenger, Frank Mares, 40, of Biloxi.
They were southbound in a pickup that collided with a northbound pickup, but it didn't appear to be a head-on collision, he said. One of the trucks struck the other truck on its side.
