Two dead in early morning head-on collision - Daily Journal

Two people are dead after a head-on collision in Tishomingo County early Wednesday morning. The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on MS Highway 25 near Belmont at approximately 4 a.m. It appeared that Jacob S. Murphy, 30, of Tishomingo, was traveling south in a Chevrolet Silverado when he apparently crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a Ford F-150 driven by William B. Lambert, 52, of Corinth. Murphy and Lambert both died on the scene from their injuries.
