One killed, two seriously injured after 3 vehicle crash in Mississippi.

One person was killed and three were injured in a three-vehicle accident Monday in Webster County.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol stated that the accident happened around 10:15 a.m. on Mississippi Highway 15 between Mathiston and Maben.

Authorities say it appears one of the cars crossed the center line of the two-lane stretch of road and clipped a truck before crashing head-on into the third vehicle.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, one was airlifted to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo and two were taken to a hospital by ambulance.

The names of those involved have not been released.
