On Tuesday night in Claiborne County, a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Charles Willis was northbound on MS 547 when he crossed over the southbound lane off the roadway and struck a tree near Tilman Road. Mississippi Highway Patrol says he was not wearing a seatbelt, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
