Divers Pull Motorcyclist Out of Lake Caroline

Police for a call around 4:20 Wednesday morning, an abandoned motorcycle was found near Lake Caroline.
Dive teams found the body of 27-year-old Michael Hendrix in Lake Caroline. Officials says Hendrix crashed his motorcycle was thrown and landed in the lake. "Deputies responded to the scene they found the motorcycle could not locate the driver," says Madison County Chief Deputy Jeremy Williams. Police for a call around 4:20 Wednesday morning, an abandoned motorcycle was found near Lake Caroline. "Evidence led them to believe that the individual was ejected off the motorcycle and was in the water," says Chief Deputy Williams. For nearly seven hours the Madison County Dive Team searched for Hendrix. We're told accident reconstruction teams are trying to figure out just what happened. "The motorcycle was not in the water it was on the roadway approximately near the Mermaid cafe," says Williams. Authorities say divers found Hendrix's body about 25 feet from the bank. We're told an autopsy is pending to determine the exact cause of his death.
