Madison man charged in hit-and-run of cyclist
A cyclist headed home from a ride on the Natchez Trace was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.

The cyclist was returning home from a ride on the Natchez Trace when the accident happened at around 6:45 pm on Old Canton Road near the south city limits. The car driver did not stop and left the scene of the accident. A witness described the vehicle as a brown or possibly tan older model vehicle.
