"When I really found out that was him, I was just devastated about this," said Willie Phillips Jr., an officer at the Tchula Police Department. "I'm going to miss him, he was a good, fair man, he brought me on board and trained me well."

Remembering Alexis Little: Vigil Held for Victim in Holmes County Crash

The vigil for Alexis Little was held earlier today at Yazoo City High School. 
A fatal Holmes County accident killed three people on Halloween evening. One of those killed was Tchula Police Chief Anthony Jones. The crash occurred on Highway 49 six miles south of Tchula. Four vehicles were involved in the crash, and two of the bodies were burned beyond recognition. The other victims' names have not yet been released.
