A Thanksgiving wreck in Marshall County claimed the life of a Red Banks woman and a Memphis man.
2 died in Thanksgiving Day accident
State troopers say the accident occurred about 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The driver of the car, Tyrone Spencer, 36, and passenger, Chenis Jefferies, 23, were killed when their passenger vehicle collided with a semi Thursday at around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 72 and Norfolk Southern Access Road. Spencer was driving west on Highway 72 when they collided with a semi turning left off of the four-lane onto the access road. The semi driver was checked by medical personnel on the scene and released.
