Pearl River Co. employee escapes rollover accident without injury
It was a scary moment for a Pearl River County employee Tuesday morning when the dump truck he was driving blew a tire and flipped on Highway 49.

“It all kind of happened in slow motion. There was a lot of noise, but I had a peace over me. I knew God was keeping me safe. It was calming,” explained Hancock. "I thank God for keeping me alive."

A dump truck traveling on Highway 49 when one of the rear right tires blew, causing the truck to flip end over end into the median of the highway. The driver, Paul Hancock, luckily escaped without injury. The $80,000 county vehicle was totalled.
