A Region 8 man was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in a single-car crash.

Pikey was driving northbound on Dunklin County Road 307 when he veered off the roadway, rolling his car into a ditch. As he was not wearing a seat belt at the time, Pikey was left partially ejected from the vehicle after the crash, and has been taken to the hospital where he is in serious condition. Investigation on the cause of the accident continues.
