Whether she was under the influence of alcohol or if speed was a factor is unknown. MHP is assisting the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the FBI with crash investigation.
Kaneeta Harris, 75, was killed in an end-over-end car accident on Pryor Gap Road east of Pryor at about 11:20 a.m. on Sunday. Harris was the sole occupant and was driving northbound on Pryor Gap Road when her car exited the road, traveled through a drainage ditch, and rolled end-over-end until it came to a stop in a field. Harris was partially ejected from the vehicle. She was transported from the crash site to a local hospital where she died It is believed that she was not wearing a seat belt.
