Nebraska woman dies in crash near Plentywood

The North Dakota man, who was wearing a seat belt, was also taken to the hospital for treatment. Why the woman hit the brakes alcohol or speed were factors in the crash unknown, he said.
A 34-year-old woman from Nebraska has died, and two have been injured following a two-car collision on Highway 5 near Plentywood, Montana. The accident occured on Tuesday, October 21 around 6:10 p.m. when the Nebraska woman and her male passenger, believed to be in his 30s, were driving east by mile marker 17. The woman braked suddenly, causing her vehicle to enter westbound traffic and collide with a 46-year-old man of Webster, North Dakota. The woman, who wore a seat belt, died at the scene. Her passenger, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to Sheridan Memorial. The man in the other car was also wearing a seat belt and was transported to the hospital.
