Stefani said the victim trapped in her car when he arrived. Fire crews responded and extracted her. She was pronounced dead upon arrival to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry said that Sorensen, 22 years old, was pronounced dead after being taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
Curry said she was the driver of one of the two vehicles involved in the crash, and that she was wearing a seatbelt.
