Metro police have identified the victims involved in a deadly crash along I-65 northbound in Madison Saturday evening.

The crash was reported around 6 p.m. near mile marker 94.

Police say the crash was triggered by a man who pulled over his truck to pick up debris from a blown tires.

A motorcyclist who was driving through the area crashed into the man, sending the driver, Eric Lee Knight, 34, of Adolphus, Kentucky and his passenger airborne.

Knight was then hit by another vehicle, and pronounced dead at the scene.

The search continued Tuesday morning for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Bordeaux.

A female pedestrian was killed in the crash that happened on Clarksville Pike at Buena Vista Pike around 10 p.m. Monday.

A man who works in the area said he was closing up for the night when he heard a loud crash. When he ran to see what happened, he says he saw a woman lying in the road and the vehicle had already left.

Officials say the woman was dead at the scene. They shut down the road for hours to investigate.

Metro police have identified the victim of Monday's fatal hit-and-run on Clarksville Pike as a 51-year-old Nashville woman.

Police say Mary Katherine Frazier, of Hydes Ferry Road, was crossing Clarksville Pike outside of a crosswalk when she was hit by a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck. The woman died at the scene.

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in south Nashville, and the driver is now facing charges.

Police say the pedestrian was walking with his fiancee when he was hit in the crosswalk at Harding Place and Interstate 24 around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Carlton Pitts was brought to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

After being hit, Pitts was stuck in the front windshield, but police say the driver didn't stop.

The driver allegedly continued down the on-ramp before putting the car in reverse and crashing into the guardrail.

A Nashville women was killed in a motorcycle crash last night.

Fifty-two-year-old Carolyn Lumley was a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle that was struck by a car when it pulled out of a driveway on Old Hickory Boulevard.

Three cars were involved in the crash. The driver of the motorcycle, Thomas Lumley, was injured along with the driver of the car that hit hem.

Police say it appears the motorcycle was at fault. Charges haven't been filed at this time.

Hobson Pike bridge was closed in both directions at Percy Priest Lake after a crash involving multiple vehicles.

Officials say an elderly driver had a medical issue and crossed the yellow line, hitting a car head on.

The woman then reportedly hit another car and the concrete wall of the bridge.

Two people were taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The bridge is expected to reopen shortly.

A White Bluff woman continues to recover after her SUV was struck by a train Monday afternoon in west Nashville.

The collision was reported about 5 p.m. near Highway 70 and McCrory Lane, and surveillance video from a nearby gas station showed the woman's vehicle crossing the tracks just as the fast-moving train approached.

Jeffrey Grant was getting gas across the street at Eddie's Market at the time.

"Before I knew it, I heard this big explosion," Grant said.

A Davidson County woman is accused of trying to bribe a Metro officer to get out of a DUI charge after police say she crashed her car into a golf cart on Broadway.

The crash happened near 1st Avenue on Sunday.

Police say the woman behind the wheel of the car was honking and flipped the bird at the men in the golf cart before hitting the accelerator, crashing into them.

The driver, Janice Merrick, was given several DUI tests.

Police say the 59-year-old was so drunk that she could not walk or stand straight.

Four teens are lucky to be alive after a bad rollover crash on West End Avenue overnight.

Police say they were driving down 17th Avenue South near Vanderbilt University when they lost control.

The car hit an embankment and flipped.

The vehicle was destroyed in the crash, but no one is said to have been hurt.
