Brother Tried Saving Siblings After Crash

"I watched the whole thing right behind him."  Brandon Bywater followed a car behind his brothers, Jordan and Nickales.
Around 1 a.m. Sunday, a car driven by 19-year old Jordan Bywater went through an intersection at 30th and Lake in Omaha, colliding with a Buick. Bywater may have run a red light. A passenger, Nick Bywater, 21, and another passenger were ejected from the car. Christy Parker and Dustin Putnam were also passengers. Brandon Bywater was following behind the vehicle and witnessed the accident. He pulled out Jordan before running to the passenger side to hold his brother Nick until medics arrived. Both brothers were rushed to the hospital, where Nick later died.  Jordan was brought to Creighton Hospital's ICU for brain damage and a concussion.
