A man who died in a rollover crash on the southern 215 Beltway around the Decatur Boulevard exit Sunday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Nevada Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash Sunday morning on the southern 215 Beltway westbound at the Decatur Boulevard exit.

According to highway patrol, a black BMW rolled over several times and came to rest in a rock area by the Beltway just before 7 a.m.

Maurice Andreas Rucker, 32, died on the scene.

Witness statements indicated the man was driving recklessly, in excess of 100 mph, highway patrol said.

Highway patrol reopened the westbound ramp to Decatur at about 10:45 a.m., after closing it during the investigation and cleanup.

An Owings Mills man was killed Sunday morning after his car crashed into the back of a tractor trailer on the Baltimore Beltway in Pikesville, officials said.

Bennie Lee Shaw Jr., 34, was driving on the outer loop of the Beltway near Greenspring Avenue at 4:36 a.m. when his 2005 Audi A8 rear-ended a 1999 International tractor trailer, according to the Maryland State Police.

Shaw was trapped in the car and was rescued by Baltimore County firefighters, but was declared dead at the scene, according to the Maryland State Police.

A tractor-trailer overturned in northwest Baltimore after it collided with another vehicle on Reisterstown Road early Sunday, police said.

The truck was headed southbound when the accident occurred at 7:15 am in front of a 7-Eleven convenience store in the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road, near Belvedere Avenue. The tractor-trailer came to rest within a few feet of the store's front door, a 7-Eleven cashier said. A bus stop was also destroyed in crash.

Two people have been taken to Sinai Hospital after a tractor trailer hit a bus stop Sunday morning.

This happened at the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Belvedere.

Two other people at the scene refused treatment.

According to police, the tractor trailer collided into another vehicle, then lost control and turned over.

The two hospitalized people have non-life threatening injuries.

Maryland State Police are investigating the death of a man who hit by a car while crossing Route 140 in Westminster.

The Carroll County Times reported Thursday that the victim was 66-year-old Harry Dowden Jr.

Police say he was struck just before 10 p.m. Wednesday by a car driven by a 34-year-old woman. They say Dowden was not in a crosswalk and was wearing dark clothing.

Police say they do not believe speed or alcohol contributed to the collision.

Darrell Murphy was killed in a traffic collision with a heavy tractor trailer driven by Ricky Barnes in North Hills at about about 6:10 a.m. at Haskell Avenue and Plummer Street. Barnes was headed south on Haskell when his truck hit a Ford Taurus that was westbound on Plummer. Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old Street man died in a single-car accident Monday night in Pylesville.

Harford County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 4600 block of Clermont Mill Road around 9:15 p.m. Monday for a report of a crash. When they arrived, Nicholas Paul Bellinger, 21, of the 2300 block of Whiteford Road in Whiteford, was outside the 2004 Nissan passenger car he had been driving, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

His passenger, Joseph Paul Giannasca, 22, of the 1000 block of Woodshire Lane in Street, was trapped in the car, according to the release.
