Woman killed in head-on collision on I-215

The accident happened shortly before 1 a.m. Nevada Highway Patrol says a Toyota truck was traveling in the wrong direction along westbound I-215, when it collided with a Hyundai.

Woman dies in two-vehicle accident on 215 Beltway

Troopers responded to the accident about 12:45 a.m. NHP trooper Chelsea Webster said a man in a Toyota truck was traveling east on the Beltway in a westbound lane near Windmill. The truck crashed head on with a Hyundai sedan, killing the car’s driver, a 28-year-old woman, Webster said.

Highway Patrol IDs driver arrested in fatal wrong-way crash

A man accused of driving the wrong way on the 215 Beltway early Tuesday morning, killing a woman ina head-on collision, has been identified as Jorge Paz-Herrera, 30, of Las Vegas, authorities said.
A woman is dead after a head-on collision near I-215 and Windmill Lane when a Toyota truck driven by an allegedly impaired driver was traveling in the wrong direction along westbound I-215 and collided with a Hyundai. The female driver of the Hyundai died at the scene of the accident. Emergency crews transported the 31-year-old male driver of the Toyota to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
