A female driver was killed in a crash on Route 55 in Deptford Township late Wednesday afternoon, according to a report from Channel 6 Action News in Philadelphia. The crash happened around 4 p.m. June 2, according to the report, in the southbound lanes of Route 55 below the Deptford Mall. The victim was identified as Jamie Irvin, 24, who was reportedly pronounced dead after the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Police are investigating.
