An off-duty Bergen County Prosecutor's Office employee driving a work car fatally struck a 64-year-old female pedestrian Monday afternoon.

John Straniero was driving home from work at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in an unmarked work car when he allegedly struck Hue Dang. Her cause of death will not be known until an autopsy is completed. Straniero was cooperative, and the incident appears to be an accident. More details posted as they are released.
